About Us
Baptist Park Christian School opened in the fall of 1974 serving a kindergarten through ninth grade student body. Today, we are a kindergarten through twelfth grade, serving approximately 250 students. In addition to our school, we have a preschool area, which serves approximately 40 families.The school is housed in the educational wing of the Gilead Baptist Church of Taylor, located on 12 acres of land. There are twenty-two classrooms, two gymnasiums, a cafeteria, a computer lab, a science lab, a library, two chapels, a beautiful auditorium, and athletic facilities.
Baptist Park Christian School is staffed with born-again teachers who have dedicated their lives to meeting the academic and spiritual needs of their students.
Taylor is a community of 90,000 plus people, located between Detroit and Ann Arbor. This southeastern Michigan community is also within easy access of recreational areas, cultural activity, and educational institutions in Ohio and Canada. There are 400 lakes and streams within an hour's drive, also skiing and snowmobiling are popular winter sports. "The Henry Ford" museum and village lead the list of many cultural opportunities. Canada is just across the river.
